Meet Jonathan

Jonathan Albert received his Master’s of Fine Arts at the Actors Studio Drama School at the New School University and was inducted as a Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio in 2005. Jonathan has worked professionally as a writer, actor, director, producer. As a Professor, Jonathan taught at Pace University, University of Albany and Union College. As a show producer and business development specialist, Jonathan has worked with Adirondack Studios, Moment Factory and Cipriani Hospitality.

From 2008-2018, Jonathan owned and operated Putnam Den, a 500-person live music venue and bar in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY – home to local, regional and nationally performing bands, live entertainment and theatre. After selling the venue in 2018, Jonathan shifted focus to visual storytelling, working in development for Adirondack Studios, the global scenic design and fabrication studio. Projects included: The Rock at Spring Studios Tribeca, in partnership with MasterCard, Five Echoes, a collaboration with Es Devlin and Chanel at Miami’s Art Basel, Citrovia at Brookfield Properties Manhattan West as well as projects with The Metropolitan Opera, Signature Theatre and Moment Factory on SuperReal at Cipriani 25 Broadway.

As Director of Production for Star Group Productions and Great Hall Entertainment, Jonathan ran audio, lighting, video, staging, rigging, media teams to produce shows for the global hospitality group, Cipriani Hospitality.

As a founding member of Never More Immersive, Jonathan wrote, directed and produced Dreams of Dracula at Musica NYC in 2023. Other shows with Never More Immersive included: the annual All Hallow’s Eve Masquerade Ball and The Christmas Carol Experience - a three floor, 12 room immersive theatrical event.

Noedo Productions was founded in 2021 and collaborated on Dreams of Dracula at Musica NYC, Dungeons & Dragons Twenty-Sided Tavern at Stage 42 and has done design work for Cipriani USA and Later Daze immersive gaming tavern, among others.
